Hi Doctor, I am a 29 year old female, married for 2 years. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since February this year. I was recently diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, and my doctor recommended a follicular study. According to the report, I ovulated successfully on day 16, with the follicle likely measuring around 18 to 20 mm at the time of rupture on April 10th (it was 14 mm on day 14). There was a single follicle in the right ovary, and my endometrial thickness was 6 mm on the day of ovulation. I would like to know if a single follicle is viable enough for conception, and what my chances are of getting pregnant this cycle. Please advise.
