The Government of India has recently shared a user manual for registration and appointment for COVID-19 vaccination. The manual will act as a guide for citizens above 60 years and those with comorbidities aged over 45 who wish to get vaccinated. Citizens will be able to register and book an appointment for vaccination using the Co-WIN 2.0 portal.
Co-WIN application is the digital backbone for the vaccination drive in India. The application will facilitate the citizen with an option to register and schedule the vaccination session online in centres of their choice. The citizen self-registration module will ensure fool-proof identification of deserving candidates for receiving the vaccines.
The objective of the document is to handhold the citizens to register and schedule an appointment for vaccination. The document can be accessed here.
