Question
I accidentally swallowed a small piece of a toothpick, probably about a quarter of it, and now my throat feels a bit strange. I dont have any other symptoms, but I'm a bit worried. Should I be concerned about this? What should I do?

Since you've swallowed a small piece of toothpick and aren't experiencing severe symptoms, monitor your condition closely, and seek immediate medical attention if you notice any signs of intestinal perforation, such as severe abdominal pain, vomiting blood, or difficulty breathing; however, if your symptoms remain mild, it's likely the toothpick fragment will pass through your system without issue.
