I was combing my son's hair today and noticed these small black spots on his scalp. They seem dry and come out with his hair when I comb it harder. He hasn't mentioned any itching or pain, but I'm kind of worried. What could these spots be, and should I do anything about it?

I just really want to understand how much hair fall is considered normal each day. Sometimes I notice around 67 hairs falling out, and other times it's like 30 to 40.
