Question

I'm 17 with a -20 diopter prescription and really want to ditch glasses for good. Is LASIK an option for me or are there other permanent vision correction surgeries that would work better for my high prescription? I'm worried my eyes might be too bad for regular laser surgery

You'll need to wait for 2-3 more years, till your glass power stabilizes. After that you can visit your local ophthalmologist who will do a couple of tests and then advise what kind of refractive surgery is apt for you. Till then you can use glasses or contact lenses , as per your convenience.
