Question
I'm currently using a Seroflo 250 inhaler and I've read that it contains steroids. I'm a bit concerned about having to use this medication for the rest of my life. Could you please explain if there are any potential side effects or complications I should be aware of? I'm really looking for some clarity on this.

Long-term use of Seroflo 250 inhaler, containing Salmeterol and Fluticasone (a steroid), may lead to potential side effects, including oral thrush, hoarseness, coughing, headaches, and increased risk of pneumonia, osteoporosis, and cataracts; however, the benefits of controlling asthma symptoms often outweigh the risks
