Question
I'm feeling alright, but last week a cat scratched my leg, and I got a tetanus shot right away. Now, I'm wondering if I should be taking any other medications or doing anything else to make sure I'm okay. What do you think?

Since you've already taken Tetanus Toxoid (TT) immediately after the cat scratch, you're likely protected against tetanus; however, cat scratches can also transmit cat-scratch disease (CSD), caused by Bartonella henselae bacteria, so monitor yourself for symptoms like redness, swelling, or pus at the scratch site, fever, headache, or swollen lymph nodes
