Question

I'm not overweight and I do exercises regularly, but I've got Acanthosis nigricans on my neck and some other parts of my body. It's really frustrating and I'm starting to feel a bit depressed about it. I feel like I'm perfectly fit, so I'm just confused why I'm dealing with this. Is there any way to get my normal skin back?

Acanthosis nigricans can sometimes occur in individuals who are not overweight and lead an active lifestyle. To help improve the appearance of Acanthosis nigricans, you can try using a topical cream containing 20% urea or 12% ammonium lactate. These creams can help exfoliate the affected areas and improve the skin texture. Additionally, maintaining a healthy diet and keeping your skin well moisturized can also help in reducing the appearance of Acanthosis nigricans.
