Question

I'm really worried because I've been unable to smell or taste anything for the last three days. I recently had a cold and took a 650mg Calpol tablet, which helped with my congestion, but my senses of taste and smell haven't come back. It's frustrating because I can't enjoy eating at all. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I don't smoke or drink and my chest X-ray was all clear. They've found DNS and sinusitis through a nasal endoscopy, and I can't help but wonder if they're causing the chronic cough. I've tried meds for GERD and allergies, and while cough medicine helps a bit, the cough always comes back just as strong. Could you please share some insights because I'm really at a loss here?
