I've had a sore throat since yesterday and it's been paired with a lot of coughing. Should I be worried, and what can I do to feel better?

My husband has been in the hospital for the past two days with a fever of 101, a sore throat, and weakness. He even fainted because his blood pressure was low, and his pulse was only 58. His oxygen saturation levels have been fluctuating between 87 and 89, but with oxygen, its between 92 and 94. We've had several tests, and I'm really concerned about his interleukin IL-6 levels, which came back at 290. I've attached the report for reference. Could you explain what this value means and what side effects he might experience? What precautions should we be taking right now?

I'm really concerned because I had a fever in the morning, and after I took some medicine, it went away. But then it came back again in the afternoon and at night. Is this normal, or should I be worried about this recurring fever? Would you suggest anything different I should try or maybe a specific kind of medicine?
