I've been chewing tobacco for the past 2 years but stopped completely now. My mouth barely opens beyond 2.5 cm and I'm worried it might be oral submucous fibrosis. Really scared of surgery are there any medications that can help improve this?

I had a CT scan a couple of months ago, and it showed minimal mucosal thickening in my right maxillary sinus. I also used a Netipot for about a week. Now, I'm dealing with some nasal obstruction. Could this obstruction be the reason for the rubbery mucus feeling?
