Question

I've been dealing with lichen planus, which appeared on my foot a couple of years ago. Back then, Allegra 180 mg and Halox S ointment worked for me, but now it's flared up on my hands and face. I'm really worriedespecially since it's on my face. Is there any advanced treatment or maybe even surgery that could offer a permanent solution? Also, are there any lifestyle changes I should consider? It's starting to stress out not just me but my whole family. Could really use some advice here.

Lichen planus can be challenging to treat, but there are options available. For the recurrence on your hands and face, you can try using Tacrolimus ointment along with Allegra 180 mg tablets. Tacrolimus ointment can help reduce inflammation and itching on the affected areas. Additionally, you can continue using Halox s ointment for relief. There is no high-end treatment like surgery to permanently cure lichen planus, but lifestyle changes can help manage the condition. Avoiding triggers such as stress, certain medications, and allergens can help prevent flare-ups.
