Question
I've been dealing with a lot of excessive salivation lately and it's really hard for me to swallow. I'm worried and wondering what could be causing this and what I can do to help it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Excessive salivation (hypersalivation) and difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) can be caused by various factors, including anxiety, stress, oral infections, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), neurological disorders, or medication side effects; remedies include practicing relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or meditation, chewing sugar-free gum to stimulate saliva swallowing, avoiding acidic or spicy foods, elevating the head of your bed, and consulting a doctor or dentist to rule out underlying conditions that may require medical attention.
