Question

I've got this annoying cystic acne on one of my buttocks, and it's super painful and inflamed. In the past, I've had cystic acne on my cheek and chest, and my doctor recommended Nadoxin, which worked back then. But now, using Nadoxin on this one doesn't seem to do the trick. Should I stick with Nadoxin, or do I need to try something else?

Considering the severity of your cystic acne on your buttock, it may be beneficial to switch to a more potent medication. I recommend stopping the use of Nadoxin and consulting with your doctor for a prescription of a stronger topical antibiotic like Duac gel. Additionally, an oral antibiotic like Doxycycline may be necessary to help reduce inflammation and control the infection. Make sure to follow your doctor's instructions for proper dosage and duration of treatment.
