My son was diagnosed with glue ear and the doctor recommended surgery. Is there any way to treat it with medication instead or are there other options we could try before going for surgery? I'm really worried about putting him through an operation.

I'm not experiencing heartburn though. I'm curious, what's the risk of throat cancer at 27 in India? Also, I used to smoke marijuana but stopped that last year too. What do you think?
