Hello Doctor, my reports consistently show normocytic, mildly hypochromic RBCs, and I am concerned about what this means. I am pregnant and currently taking iron supplements and bifolate tablets, yet the results have not changed. Does mildly hypochromic indicate anemia, and should I consider getting a thalassemia test done?

I have fever with stomach ache and start to sweat then doze off to sleep. I got a blood report which shows typhoid and I am on medication.
