Is 14080 a normal level, or should I be worried and consider some medications? I'm currently lactating. Is this considered high, or is it within the normal range? Please help me out, I'm really concerned.

Lab Value Interpretation:
- A lab value of 14080 likely refers to the white blood cell (WBC) count.
- This is slightly above the normal range (4,000 to 11,000 cells/µL) for a lactating female.
-
What This Means:
- Mild elevation can be due to infections, inflammation, stress, or exertion.
-
Should You Worry?
- Not necessarily. Slight elevations are common and not always serious, especially without symptoms like fever or pain.
-
Medication Considerations:
- Do not start medication based solely on this value without consulting a healthcare provider.
-
Next Steps:
- Monitor for symptoms such as fever, chills, or fatigue.
- Consult your healthcare provider if symptoms develop or the count rises further.

View allI recently had a TSH test done and the result was 5.7, so my doctor suggested I start taking thyronorm 25 mcg. But then I went to another diagnostic center the next day and my TSH came back as 3.7. I'm a bit confused about what to do now. I've also been experiencing shorter menstrual periods for about three years, down from three days to just one and a half. I'm currently on gardinal 30 MG and my prolactin levels seem to be normal. Should I go ahead and take the thyronorm or should I consult with another doctor first?

I've been noticing that I'm sighing a lot, like every 5 to 10 minutes I'm taking a deep breath. Occasionally I can't seem to get a full deep breath. This started about 4 days ago and it's got me a bit worried. I don't have any chest pain, and my normal breathing is fine. Do you think this could be an allergy thing, something with my lungs, or maybe even my heart? I'm also yawning frequently. For context, I weigh 80 kg and I'm 169 cm tall. I have hypothyroidism and I'm on 25 mcg of thyronorm. Could any of this be linked?
