I had LASIK surgery three days ago and now there's a blood clot in my right eye that seems to be getting bigger. The doctor says it's normal but I'm worried because it's not improving. Should I be concerned or is this really part of the healing process?
While subconjunctival hemorrhages (blood clots in the eye) are common after LASIK surgery and generally harmless, it's important to monitor the blood clot and follow up with your doctor if you have concerns, especially if it's getting larger or not improving.
