It's been 3 days since I got my left upper and lower wisdom teeth removed, but my left temple keeps hurting nonstop and I can't sleep at night. Plus, the left side of my tongue still feels numb what's going on? Is this normal or should I be worried?
It's possible your symptoms are related to a few things after wisdom tooth removal, including a dry socket, nerve damage, or inflammation. While some pain and numbness are normal after surgery, severe or persistent pain, particularly in the temple, and a numb tongue lasting more than a few days warrant a call to your dentist or oral surgeon.

I'm also worried because the left side of my tongue is still numb. What's going on here? Could you help me understand what's happening and what I should do?
