Is banana good for liver?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Banana are good source of potassium, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and dietary fibers which is good for an over-all good health including liver. As banana is also a rich source of sugars and carbohydrates, it is better to consume in moderation.

I'm having this issue where after I eat anything, my throat gets filled with phlegm and I struggle to breathe properly because my air flow feels blocked. Plus, I can't seem to burp at all after eating, which is really uncomfortable. It's getting particularly bad at night, making it really hard to sleep. I've also noticed that when I eat non-veg items, there's a lot of saliva that builds up all at once. What could be causing this, and should I be worried?
Consider consulting an ENT specialist or a gastroenterologist to rule out underlying conditions like acid reflux, sinusitis, or food allergies, and in the meantime, try antacids, proton pump inhibitors, or histamine-2 blockers, and avoid trigger foods, especially non-veg items, to alleviate severe phlegm and breathing difficulties.

I'm having this weird feeling of uneasiness in my chest, but it's only when I'm trying to sleep at night, during the day it's not there at all. When it happens, I usually just get up, drink some water, and I end up belching a lot, and then after a while, I can go back to sleep like normal. I've been keeping an eye on my SpO2 at home and its around 97-98 every time I check it. Also, I went to a general physician yesterday, May 18, and they said my SpO2 is good too. I don't have any other symptoms, especially those related to Covid. My doctor gave me antibiotics to be on the safer side along with some vitamins for three days. I'm just wondering if there's anything else I should be looking into, like, should I get a CT scan of my lungs or anything like that given my situation?
At present CT is not required . Tab augmentin duo 625mg ,orally ,thrice daily for 5 days advised to the patient. Also syrup salbutamol 10ml thrice daily for 7 days is advised to the patient.Steam inhalation is also advised twice
