I was diagnosed with AVN possibly in the first or second stage and was told core decompression might be needed. Is there any chance it can be treated with just medications without surgery? 6 weeks post ACL surgery and my physiotherapist keeps forcefully bending my knee during home visits, causing intense pain. He increases the bend every day with more pressure and also compresses my knee while elevating my leg from the ankle. Is this normal or is he being too aggressive with the recovery process?
