Can anyone recommend a good knee replacement surgeon or hospital in the tricity area Also what would be the approximate cost for the procedure
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
For knee replacement surgery in the Tricity area (Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula), it's recommended to research and consult with multiple surgeons and hospitals. Approximate costs can range from ‚Çπ2,00,000 to ‚Çπ5,00,000 or higher, depending on factors like surgeon's fees, hospital charges, and the type of implant used

View allMy knee cap has gotten really thin and I'm on medication right now but I'm worried about surgery since I heard replacements only last around 10 years - is it worth going through with it or should I try other options first
hope you are not in a lot of pain. What do you mean by saying that your knee cap is thin ? Do you mean that the cartilage is worn out ? You might have chondromalacia patella. Please consult an Orthopaedic surgeon

I've had low back pain for 8 months and an MRI showed a disc bulge, but the doctors haven't explained what caused it. Painkillers don't help, and I can't sit or work for more than an hour without pain. Even lifting slightly heavy things is tough. Do I really need surgery for this? I'm worried about steroid injections because of side effects like weight gain what else can I do to get back to normal life?
Surgery is not always needed; structured physiotherapy and core strengthening can help avoid injections and regain function.
