View allMy sister recently finished physiotherapy and quad strengthening exercises, but she still struggles with a lot of knee pain due to chondromalacia. We've noticed it gets better with icing and rest, but it's tough since she really loves dancing and doesn't want to quit. Is it okay for her to try Zumba or aerobics, or would that just make things worse? Any advice would be really helpful.

I'm currently 5'8 and want to increase my height to 6'4. I've heard about limb lengthening surgery and growth plates but not sure how they work. Are there any medicines or procedures that can actually help me grow taller at this point
While it's understandable to want to increase height, it's important to know that reaching a 6'4 height is unlikely through natural means at this point. Growth plates typically close during adolescence, making it very difficult to influence height after that. Limb lengthening surgery is a complex procedure that can increase height but also carries significant risks and recovery time.

Got an MRI report showing a complete tear of the medial patellar retinaculum with fluid buildup and swelling, plus a sprain in the ACL and MCL. There's also some bone marrow edema in the lateral femoral condyle and mild knee effusion. Really worried about surgery is there any way to heal this with meds or other treatments instead?
