I have a grade 3 tear in the posterior horn of my medial meniscus but can walk fine and bend my knee fully. Do I need surgery for this or can it heal on its own?

A grade 3 tear in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus usually indicates a complete tear, which typically does not heal on its own due to limited blood supply in that area. However, if you're not experiencing pain, instability, or functional limitations, conservative management like physiotherapy may be sufficient. An orthopedic consultation is recommended to assess the need for surgery based on your activity level and symptoms.

View allLiving in a 20-story apartment building, I use the stairs twice a day as exercise that's 40 floors or around 500 steps. It's convenient for me as a working mom, but people keep warning me it could lead to knee replacement issues later. Is climbing stairs really that bad for my knees? Could it cause long-term damage?
Yes composite holistic excercise better than isolated load

I've had an ACL tear in my left knee for about 2.5 months now, and the pain has reduced by 70%. It only comes back when I walk long distances. What kind of tear is this, and do I need surgery? Can I wait it out or should I consider other options? Also, what exactly is an interstitial tear can it heal with PRP injections, and how successful are they usually?
I recommend starting with physiotherapy and painkillers to manage your condition. If there's no significant improvement after a reasonable period, we can then consider surgical options.
