Can I still go to the gym while I'm getting anti-rabies treatment? A dog bit me, and I've finished 2 days of the vaccine, with 2 more to go. Is it okay to continue my workouts and take whey protein during this time? Would love your advice.

Physical Activity:
- Moderate exercise, like gym workouts, is generally safe during anti-rabies vaccination if you feel well and have no side effects such as fever or fatigue.
-
Whey Protein:
- Whey protein supplements do not interfere with the vaccine's effectiveness and are usually safe unless you have allergies or kidney issues.
-
Monitoring Symptoms:
- Listen to your body. If you experience severe fatigue, swelling, or allergic reactions, avoid strenuous exercise and consult your healthcare provider.
Overall, maintaining a balanced routine with moderate exercise and proper nutrition is acceptable during your vaccination period. Always prioritize your health and consult your doctor if unsure.

View allI'm really worried about my friend who's been dealing with TB lymph node for about three months now. Even though she's been taking her meds, the lymph node seems to be getting bigger. Could this mean it's resistant to the treatment? Is this serious, and what should she do next?
Yes ,continue same treatment.

I'm feeling a bit worried about my recent blood test results. I had a torch panel test done using EIA, and the results showed that my HSV 12 IgG level is at 1.6 and the IgM is at 0.2. What does this mean? Does it indicate that I have a herpes infection? Can you help me understand this better?
An IgG level of 1.6 indicates a past infection with herpes simplex virus, while an IgM level of 0.2 suggests a low likelihood of a recent infection. This means that you have been exposed to the herpes virus in the past, but it does not necessarily indicate a current or active infection. It is important to consult with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and interpretation of these results.

I'm trying to understand the difference between the Dengue IgG and IgM tests and the dengue NS1 test. When should one be used over the other? Are they looking for different things, and does it matter how soon after symptoms show up that you take them?
The NS1 test detects the dengue virus NS1 antigen, while the IgM from 3-5days and IgG after 7 days to detect the dengue virus antibodies.
