Can I still take a bath if I've tested positive for COVID? I've heard that those who have the virus are sometimes told not to bathe. Also, is it okay to wash my hair?

It's generally safe to bathe if you're COVID-positive, as long as you take precautions like avoiding hot water that could strain your body. As for washing your hair, you can do so, but try to avoid overexerting yourself and make sure to rest afterward if you feel weak. Always follow your doctor's advice for the best care.

  1. Bathing and Hair Washing: It is safe to take a bath and wash your hair while you have COVID-19. Maintaining personal hygiene is important.

  2. Water Temperature: Use warm water, as it can be soothing, especially if you have body aches or chills.

  3. Listen to Your Body: If you feel weak or dizzy, consider resting and delaying bathing until you feel steadier.

  4. Ventilation: Ensure your bathroom is well-ventilated to reduce moisture and keep the environment fresh.

  5. Post-Bath Care: Dry yourself thoroughly and keep warm to prevent chills.

If symptoms worsen, contact your healthcare provider.

I've been having a fever for the past three days and it's really starting to worry me. On top of that, I've been dealing with some serious stomach issueslike a lot of gas and stomach achesover the last couple of days. Its all leaving me feeling super weak, almost like I'm having fits. Could you help me figure out what's going on and what I should do?

It sounds like you may be experiencing a gastrointestinal infection along with fever and weakness. I recommend taking Acetaminophen for fever (e.g. Tylenol) and Simethicone for excessive gas (e.g. Gas-X). Additionally, you can take an antacid for stomach ache (e.g. Tums) and make sure to stay hydrated. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please seek medical attention.

I'm trying to increase my B12 level from 200 to 900. Can you tell me how many 500 mcg doses I should take? And what's the best schedule for taking them?

1 tablet daily for 3 months would help, because, orally only 10% of consumed dose will be actively available, the remaining will be excreted, hence it takes long time to restore, also consume eggs and adequate quantity of meat, they are rich in B12.

I'm really worried because someone I know tested positive for Covid and had symptoms. But after about 5 days, the symptoms went away. Do we really need to do another Covid test now, or is it okay to skip it since theyre feeling better? I'm just unsure if there's a risk, so some guidance would be really helpful.
