Can plasmapheresis or any other treatment completely cure Pemphigus vulgaris? Does anyone have experience with this or suggestions on other effective treatments? I've been reading about this condition and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Would really appreciate some guidance, especially if there are promising therapies or any success stories.

Understanding Pemphigus Vulgaris and Its Treatment Goals
- Pemphigus vulgaris is an autoimmune condition. Treatment focuses on controlling symptoms rather than a complete cure.
-
Role of Plasmapheresis in Treatment
- Plasmapheresis helps remove harmful antibodies and is used alongside other treatments. It reduces disease activity but isn't a standalone cure.
-
Other Effective Treatments
- Corticosteroids and immunosuppressive drugs are standard treatments. Newer therapies like biologics (e.g., Rituximab) show promise.
-
Success Stories and Prognosis
- Many patients achieve remission with proper treatment. Individualized plans and regular follow-ups with specialists are crucial.
-
Recommendations for Patients
- Consult specialists in autoimmune blistering diseases. Discuss all treatment options, including plasmapheresis and biologics. Engage with support resources and patient communities for shared experiences.

I'm 30 and I've been dealing with a fungal infection on my thighs for about 18 months now. I've been using itrabestds and prutrip25rapross, but nothing seems to be helping. Can you advise me on what I should do?
if the condition is not getting better then the medication is ineffective for this you have to undergo a test called KOH mount which gives exact causative agent and appropriate treatment can be given.visit your dermatologist for the same.

I've had grey hair for 34 years, and now Ive noticed my beard is turning grey-white too. I tried using Altris gel as my doctor suggested for 34 months, but it didn't help. Is there any real cure for this issue? It really concerns me.
Altris gel you will have to use it for a year or so to see results. And deficiencies have to be corrected as well. There are clinical studies showing results with this but you will have to do it long term .
