Can side effects from using a steroid cream on my face show up even 12 years later? I used Lobate cream a couple of times, not realizing it was a steroid, but that was about 2 years ago. Now my skin is often red and itchy. Could this be from that cream?

I'm having some noticeable bumps around my genitals, and whenever I try to get intimate, my partner gets really freaked out by them. I'm worried about how they look and really want to find a way to make them less visible. Any advice on what I might do to handle this?
Fordyce spots on the penis are harmless and there is no pressing medical reason to seek treatment. However, the appearance of Fordyce spots on and around the penis can be distressing, worrying or embarrassing to sufferers. It's important to realize that Fordyce spots are harmless, painless, not infectious and do not require treatment. Their removal should be for cosmetic reasons only.Fordyce spots are much more noticeable when the skin is stretched, and may only be seen during an erection.
