Sinus Issues and Breathing:
- Sinus congestion and nasal blockage can make nasal breathing difficult, potentially causing a sensation of shortness of breath.
- This is often due to nasal obstruction rather than true respiratory distress.
-
Indirect Causes:
- Sinus problems may lead to postnasal drip or trigger asthma/allergic reactions, indirectly affecting breathing.
-
Other Considerations:
- Persistent or severe shortness of breath should be evaluated for other causes like asthma, allergies, or heart conditions.
-
Recommendation:
- Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen for proper diagnosis and treatment.

View allI've been dealing with this cough for 23 days now, and it's getting really frustrating. I'm coughing up this greenish-yellow mucus, and every single time I cough, I can't breathe and start gagging. On top of that, my nose is super congested, my tonsils are all inflamed, and I've got this really terrible ear pain. What could be going on here? Should I be concerned about this combination of symptoms?
Thta could be Bronchitis, visit Pulmonologist for appropriate management, have good foofd and take adequate rest

I'm a 27-year-old male nurse working in the surgery OT and I've been smoking cigarettes for the last 8 years. For the past 4 months, I've had granular pharyngitis and even after taking all the prescribed meds, it hasn't gone away. Now for the last month, I've been experiencing chest tightness could this be related to my throat issue or the smoking? What should I do next?

My nose has an S-shaped deviated septum but the overall shape looks fine do I have any non-surgical options? If I do go for surgery, will it alter my nose shape or leave visible scars? I'm really worried about how it might look afterward.
