Is cataract surgery safe during the rainy season or is it better to wait for winter? I've heard humidity and infections might be higher in monsoon and worried about recovery. Does the weather really affect the surgery outcome or healing process?

Cataract surgery is generally safe year-round; infection control practices matter more than weather.

8 months post-LASIK with poor vision is not normal—repeat refraction and topography needed; may need enhancement or could indicate regression.

My sister has been suffering from Steven Johnson syndrome for 10 years and her vision keeps getting worse. We've tried multiple eye surgeries but nothing has worked so far. She needs a keratoplasty transplant do you know which hospitals in India perform this procedure? I'm really worried and need some guidance on where to go.
LV Prasad, AIIMS Delhi, and Sankara Nethralaya are top hospitals in India for keratoplasty—consult corneal specialists there.

I'm considering Lasik surgery and have a high spherical number around 7 with a bit of cylindrical correction at 1. My cornea thickness is over 540 in both eyes. With these numbers, which Lasik option would work best for me Blade Lasik, Bladeless Lasik, or Contoura Vision? I'm a little unsure about the differences and which one would be safest and most effective for my case.
opthal opinion is advised.
