I had PRK surgery 6 months ago and my doctor told me to keep using preservative-free lubricant drops three times a day plus gel at bedtime for another 3 months. Is it safe to use them for this long or could there be any side effects from extended use?

Yes he is right. As our eyes should work simultaneously. So if we do surgery on one eye, the effect will be total for both eyes. It's not like that if your right eye is going out means we have to operate that eye only . On examination, whatever the non dominant eye will be operated. I had Lasik surgery a year ago and still struggle with dry eyes would taking sea cod liver oil capsules daily help with this? Are there any side effects I should worry about since my eyes are still healing and how long can I safely use them
