I had cataract surgery 4 months ago and was prescribed systane ultra eye drops with polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol to use twice daily for a year. It's quite expensive are there any other options for managing dry eyes that might be more affordable? Sometimes my eyes still feel dry even with the drops.

I'm 20 and have been wearing glasses for my short sight problem My friends keep suggesting I get eye surgery and I'm open to it if my age is suitable Could you tell me which option is safer and better between LASIK and laser surgery
Yes, 20 is generally considered a suitable age for laser eye surgery like LASIK, as vision typically stabilizes by this age. Most doctors prefer to perform the surgery when the prescription has been stable for about a year. This allows for a more predictable outcome and reduces the chance of needing further corrections later.

My right eyelid is swollen with a pus-filled lump that's turned into a hard mass. The doctor recommended surgery but I want to try meds first. I've been taking gate df eyedrops, rabikind dsr, fynal 500, and zypore for 3 days but the lump hasn't reduced much. Should I switch meds or is surgery the only option now?
