My right eyelid is swollen with a pus-filled lump that's turned into a hard mass. The doctor recommended surgery but I want to try meds first. I've been taking gate df eyedrops, rabikind dsr, fynal 500, and zypore for 3 days but the lump hasn't reduced much. Should I switch meds or is surgery the only option now?

View allMy left eye has high myopia at 19D and my right eye is at 4D. I was recommended ICL surgery but waiting a year since my power isn't stable my left eye changed from 18D to 19D. Now I'm noticing double vision sometimes with this new prescription. Will this get better on its own or could it be something more serious?

My mom had cataract surgery in her right eye a while ago but the redness hasn't gone away yet. She doesn't have any pain or irritation though. What's the best way to treat this? Should we be worried about the redness sticking around?
Redness in the eye after cataract surgery is a common side effect and usually resolves on its own within a few weeks. If your mom isn't experiencing pain or irritation, and the redness isn't worsening, it's generally not a cause for major concern. However, it's always best to consult her ophthalmologist to rule out any complications or potential infection
