Dear Doctor, I am one month pregnant and, I have not been able to visit a doctor in person. I am currently taking care of myself by having natural foods and drinks. My recent report shows a deficiency in Vitamin D3, with a level of 19. I would like to know whether I should take Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once a week or once a month. Also, please advise what other supplements or care I should follow during my pregnancy.

Vitamin D3 level is low. You can safely take 60,000 IU once a week for 6 to 8 weeks (as per doctor advice). Prenatal vitamins with folic acid are also important during early pregnancy. Follow up with the doctor with regular prenatal checkups and scans
