  1. Dandruff and Acne Connection:

    • Dandruff does not directly cause acne.
    • Indirect links include scalp oils and flakes spreading to the face, potentially clogging pores.
  2. Contributing Factors:

    • Hair products for dandruff might irritate facial skin.
    • Both conditions involve skin inflammation, which can exacerbate each other.
  3. Recommendations:

    • Use gentle, non-comedogenic products.
    • Maintain cleanliness of scalp and face.
    • Consult a dermatologist for tailored treatment.

In summary, while dandruff doesn't directly cause acne, managing scalp health can help minimize its impact on facial skin.

Is it okay to use Grocapix solution? Are there any side effects I should be worried about? Will it actually help in stopping hair loss and maybe even help regrow the lost hair? I've been prescribed Androanagen tablets along with the Grocapix solution. I'm also wondering, if I stop using these, is it gonna lead to more hair fall like it happens with minoxidil?

continue same treatment.

I'm a bit confused about my Itaspor 200 prescription for tinea cruris. I lost the paper and have 14 tablets, but not sure if I'm supposed to take one tablet per week or follow a different schedule. Can you help?

I've been dealing with hair loss and went to see a dermatologist who prescribed some medications. I've been using two lotions - URTO and Racine - along with biotin and vitamin tablets for about 12 days now. However, instead of getting better, my hair loss seems to have tripled. Is it possible these medications aren't working for me, or is increased hair loss a normal part of the treatment process?

Increased hair loss in the first few weeks of treatment can be normal, especially with medications like minoxidil. It's part of the transition as your hair follicles shift into a new growth phase. Stick with the treatment for a couple of months, but if you feel uncomfortable or the shedding doesnt stop, definitely reach out to your dermatologist.
