Does drinking beer impact ACL surgery recovery I'm doing my physiotherapy daily but wondering if I should start gym workouts too

It's generally not recommended to drink alcohol after ACL surgery, especially in the initial stages of recovery. Alcohol can interfere with the healing process, potentially leading to complications like increased bleeding or infection. It can also disrupt your sleep, which is crucial for recovery

Controlled diabetes allows safe hip replacement if sugar and vitals are stable; premium prosthesis like ceramic or titanium are costlier but last longer with less wear.

I'm a bit worried because yesterday I collided with someone while playing football and hit my chest pretty hard with my fist. I used a cold pack right away, and the pain seemed to lessen, but this morning it was back just as bad. There's no redness or pain when I breathe, but if I move or stretch, like getting out of bed, it really hurts. Sometimes it even hurts when I cough hard. I've been taking dolo after meals in the morning and at night, and I'm using belladonna plaster along with hot water pack treatments twice a day. Should I go see a doctor right away, or is it okay to monitor the pain a bit longer? Am I doing the right things with the medicines and treatments?

if pain is reduced, then no need to visit the doctor
