During the cold season, I find I keep sneezing if I wake up around 7 am. It lasts for about an hour. But if I get up later, like after 8 or 9, it doesn't seem to bother me much. I'm kind of worried about what's causing this and what I can do to help it. Any thoughts?

  1. Possible Causes of Morning Sneezing During Cold Season

    • Common triggers include seasonal allergies (e.g., pollen, mold), indoor allergens (dust mites), and cold air exposure.
    • These factors can cause sneezing, especially in the morning due to overnight allergen accumulation.
  2. Diagnostic Considerations

    • Observe for other symptoms like nasal congestion, itchy eyes, or runny nose.
    • Consider consulting an allergist or ENT specialist for a proper diagnosis if symptoms persist.
  3. Management and Relief Strategies

    • Environmental Control: Keep windows closed during high pollen times, use air purifiers, and clean regularly to reduce dust.
    • Personal Care: Use nasal saline sprays to clear allergens and avoid exposure to cold air early in the morning.
    • Over-the-Counter Options: Antihistamines like cetirizine or loratadine can be helpful.
  4. When to Seek Medical Advice

    • Seek professional evaluation if symptoms persist beyond the cold season, worsen, or impact daily life.
  5. Relevant Medical Specialties

    • Consider consulting specialists in Allergy and Immunology or Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT).

My wife's been dealing with a dry cough for over two months now. We did an X-ray and some blood tests, and the doctor thinks it's an allergy. She's already been through three courses of tablets, but there's still no improvement. What do you think we should do next? Do you have any suggestions?

I've been dealing with really high IGE levels, around 472, and the antihistamines I've tried only help a bit with my allergy symptoms, but they don't seem to get rid of them completely. I got an allergy test done and found out I'm allergic to dust mites, tomato, egg, fish, ginger, and a bunch of other things. I do my best to avoid these, but I've also got eczema on a few fingers, which started after using a rubber padded mouse too much. It's super stubborn and won't go away. Recently, I've noticed my eyes get really red and itchy, especially over the past couple of weeks, making it hard to see at night while driving. Do you think homeopathy might help with any of this?
