Found a lump in my right breast and got a mammogram done. The doctor suggested a biopsy but I'm not sure if it's really needed or if I can just go straight to surgery. What would you recommend in this situation?

What are the different cancer treatment options available and how effective is each one? I'm curious if there are alternatives to chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery that might work better or have fewer side effects
Cancer treatment options include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, stem cell transplant, and more. Each treatment's effectiveness varies depending on the cancer type, stage, and individual patient factors. While chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery remain common, newer approaches like immunotherapy and targeted therapy are showing promise with potentially fewer side effects for some patients.
