Good evening doctor, I'm currently six months pregnant and today I noticed something a bit unusual. There are a few drops of something leaking from my breast, and it happened both in the morning and again in the evening. I'm just wondering if this is normal or if it's something I should be concerned about. Could you help me understand why this might be happening?

Normal Occurrence:
- It's common for pregnant women to experience breast leakage. This is typically due to hormonal changes as your body prepares for breastfeeding.
-
What You Might Be Seeing:
- The fluid is likely colostrum, a thick, yellowish substance, which is the first form of milk your body produces.
-
When to Be Concerned:
- Consult your healthcare provider if the fluid is bloody, has a foul smell, or if you experience pain, redness, or lumps.
-
What to Do:
- Keep the area clean and dry. Use breast pads if the leakage is bothersome.
If you have further concerns, discuss them with your obstetrician during prenatal visits.

If next cycle starts from 28 +/- 7 days from the first date of last menstrual cycle then it is considered a normal cycle. A delay of 10 days is not normal and may need evaluation.

I noticed my girlfriend is taking Endogest 200 tablets and recently, she's been having irregular periods, sometimes being delayed by as much as 56 days. I'm a bit worried and not sure why she's on this medication. Is there a specific issue that these tablets address? We're planning to get married in a few months, so I'm also wondering if this could affect her chances of getting pregnant. Can you provide some insight into this?

Which ovary produces a girl?
There are few persons who believe that, the ovary of the right side yields ova which on fertilization develop as males, and the ovary of the left side yields ova which are potentially female but it is not scientifically proven. Development of female or male child depends on chromosome (X or Y) from father's sperm.
