Got diagnosed with chicken pox today and consulted two doctors, but they both only suggested taking dolo 650. I'm seeing reviews though where other doctors mention antivirals for treatment. Just feeling a bit anxious here. Should I be taking some other medication too?

View allI'm 23 years old and a couple of years ago, I used minoxidil 5%. It worked after about four months and my hair started growing, but then I began losing hair again after two more months, so I stopped using it. Now, I'm thinking about starting it up again after two years. If I do, will everything be okay this time?
It's okay to try minoxidil again after two years, but be prepared for shedding initially, as it can happen when restarting. Continue using it consistently for at least 4-6 months to see results. If you notice any irritation or side effects, consult with a dermatologist. Remember, minoxidil works best with long-term use.

I'm really worried about these rashes on my hands and legs. The ones on my hands are between my elbow and shoulder, and they kind of look like pimples, but the ones on my legs are circular. Plus, there's so much itching going on. What could this be, and how should I treat it?
This could be fungal infection u need to evaluate with your Dermatologist and get appropriate treatment with oral antifungal medications and topical lotions, once the infection is resolved your hair fall would come down,I suggest you not to use minoxidil with active fungal infection, above this your personal hygiene care is more important.

I've been struggling with dry and scaly skin on my knuckles, and no matter how much I use moisturizer cream, it just doesn't go away. Unfortunately, there's no good dermatologist where I live. Can you suggest a solution? If there's a cream you recommend, could you please mention the brand name, preferably one that's easy to find even in smaller places?
You may be dealing with a condition like eczema or psoriasis. In this case, I recommend trying a cream containing 1% hydrocortisone, such as Cortizone-10. Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice a day for up to 2 weeks. Additionally, you can use a moisturizer like Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Body Moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated. Remember to consult a healthcare professional if the symptoms persist or worsen.
