He is having fever with temperature ranging from 98 to 103. Blood report is normal and malaria is negative. He also has cold and reddish eyes. Please suggest.

Viral illness like dengue or adenovirus or seasonal allergies may cause such symptoms. Supportive care with hydration, paracetamol, rest. If persists, check for dengue, COVID, or flu.

I initially had a sinus headache, which gradually disappeared. After that, I have been having a fever for over 15 days. My urine test is normal, and my CBC blood report shows a marginally low platelet count of 1.49 lakh. The doctor prescribed only Paracetamol, which provides temporary relief for a few hours. Doctor, what could be the cause of this prolonged fever? I do not have any other symptoms besides fever and fatigue.
