Hey, I'm a med student and lately, I've been hearing this sound in my ear. I think it might be pulsatile tinnitus. It all started like 34 hours ago after I finished my bath. What could be causing this, and should I be worried?

Pulsatile tinnitus can be caused by various factors such as increased blood flow in the blood vessels near the ear. In your case, since it started after taking a bath, it could be related to changes in blood flow or pressure. I recommend you to try using a white noise machine to help mask the sound. Additionally, you can take Ginkgo Biloba supplement, 120 mg twice daily, to potentially improve blood circulation and reduce the symptoms of tinnitus. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to consult with an ENT specialist for further evaluation and management.

View allCan adults use Nasoclear nasal spray, or is it just for kids? I'm a bit confused and want to make sure it's safe for me to use.
YOU can use it for adults too no problem.

I keep sneezing and getting a cold every morning no matter what I try - I've done alopathy, homeopathy, and ayurvedic treatments but nothing helps. One doctor mentioned I might have extra nose bone growth needing surgery, but said there's only a 50% chance it'll work. What do you think about this diagnosis and treatment option?
i feel that you have allergic rhinitis. You can start with a steroid nasal spray twice daily. If no relief, consult another ENT surgeon and get evaluated whether surgery will help or not. But allergy per se may not go away with surgery. You will need spray and avoidance of allergens.

I'm a 40-year-old woman diagnosed with otosclerosis 55% hearing loss in my left ear and mild 25% loss in my right. I struggle to hear low decibel sounds in my left ear. Should I consider stapedectomy surgery now or wait longer? I'm unsure about the right timing for the procedure.
ent opinion is advised.
