Hey, I've been dealing with chronic nasal polyps for a while now, and I'm starting to get a bit concerned. Is it possible that these polyps could cause an increase in the pressure in my pulmonary artery? I'm curious because I heard that could be a complication, but I'm not entirely sure. Any thoughts on this?

Chronic nasal polyps can sometimes be associated with a condition called Samter's triad, which includes nasal polyps, asthma, and aspirin sensitivity. In severe cases, this condition can lead to a rare but serious complication known as pulmonary hypertension. Treatment may involve medications such as montelukast (Singulair) to help manage asthma symptoms and potentially prevent complications like pulmonary hypertension. However, it is important to consult with a healthcare provider for proper evaluation and management.

View allI have a hole in my right middle ear and I'm worried about the complications it might cause. Can it heal naturally with things like steam or other home remedies? How serious is the surgery for this and what's the procedure like? I'd really prefer a natural way to fix it if possible.
A hole in the eardrum (perforated eardrum) can heal on its own, especially if it's small or caused by a recent injury or infection. However, most cases, especially those involving larger holes, require surgical repair. While home remedies like steam or other similar treatments won't heal the hole, they can help manage symptoms and reduce the risk of infection. If the hole doesn't heal on its own or causes significant hearing loss, surgery (tympanoplasty) may be necessary

I've been feeling a strange moving sensation in my left ear for almost two weeks now, like an insect or something. There's no pain when it happens, but I saw an ENT doctor a few days ago. She checked my ear and said there's no insect, and my eardrums are fine. She diagnosed me with a dislocated jaw and gave me some Vitamin B Complex and pain meds. She mentioned something about the jaw joint needing repair. This all started after I cleaned my ears with cotton buds. Now, my left jaw feels weird, like a toothache, and I also have a small sore near my last teeth. Could this insect-like feeling in my ear be related to the jaw pain? And how do I get rid of this strange crawling sensation?
The ENT doctor you visited seems to have clinched the diagnosis. I suggest you to follow up with same doctor.

I've been having a ringing sound in my ear ever since my ENT doctor removed some earwax. It's been about 1.5 months now, and it happens for around 5 hours a day, but not all at once. I'm starting to get worried. What should I do about it?
Tinnitus can be distressing!
