Hi Doctor, I have been dealing with a mild thyroid issue (TSH 5.0) for the past 8 months. Recently, I noticed dry skin, so I repeated the thyroid test, and now my TSH is 7.8. How concerning is this? Can it be managed through nutrition, meditation, and exercise, or should I consult a doctor as soon as possible? I would greatly appreciate your advice. Please refer to the attached screenshot of my test report.

Long term thyroid imbalance needs regular monitoring. Share your full thyroid profile with a doctor for dosage adjustment or evaluation of symptoms. Do not self treat.

My father is 76 years old and has hypothyroidism. He has been taking Thyronorm 25 mcg daily for more than a year. If it needs adjustment, what should the new dose be?
