Hi Doctor, I recently had a blood test done and found that my androstenedione levels are low, and my other hormone levels are closer to the lower limit of normal. I have been experiencing several health issues including premature ejaculation, hair loss, weight gain, fatty liver, vitamin deficiencies, weakness, and infertility (low sperm count). Please advise me on what this could mean and what treatment options I should consider.

Low androstenedione and borderline hormones may explain symptoms like low energy, hair loss, premature ejaculation, weight gain, and infertility. These issues may relate to hormonal imbalance, metabolic slowdown, or nutrient deficiencies. Lifestyle changes, diet, and medical support can improve many of these problems over time. Please consider a thyroid profile done before reviewing with your doctor. Please consult an endocrinologist or fertility specialist for proper evaluation.

Do they check testosterone levels in routine blood work?

I am 20 years old. I did a total testosterone test at Dr. Lal Path Labs, and I think my testosterone level is low. My result shows 257.63 ng/dl. Could you please help me interpret this report?
