Hi Doctor, My mother is 50 years old. We recently did a complete blood test for her. Overall, her health is fine, and she is not on any medications. Most of her test results are normal, but her thyroid hormone (TSH) is 6.09, which concerns me. Could you please advise your suggestions? Should we visit a doctor for this?

TSH 6.09 is slightly high. If your mother has no symptoms, its likely subclinical hypothyroidism. Monitor TSH and check T3, T4 after 6 to 8 weeks. Treatment may not be needed unless symptoms appear.
