Hi, I am 9 weeks pregnant. My recent report shows Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH ULTRA) at 4.69 microIU/ml. Is this a serious issue? Do I have thyroid problems? Please advise.

TSH of 4.69 is mildly high for pregnancy. Ideal first trimester TSH is under 2.5 to 3. Thyroid medication may be needed. Repeat Thyroid Profile every 4 to 6 weeks. Common and treatable during pregnancy.

View allI had a blood test yesterday, and everything was normal except for my free T3 level. My thyroid test results are: TSH: 2.33 microIU/mL, Free T4: 1.33 ng/mL, and Free T3: 8.4 pg/mL. Is this level abnormal? Does it mean I have hyperthyroidism? I read on the internet that it is not curable and requires lifelong medication. Is my result serious? I also experience hand pain and sensitivity to cold climates, but I feel fine in sunny weather. I am worried about my T3 levels.

I have recently undergone a thyroid test. My TSH and T3 are within the normal range, and T4 is also normal but on the higher side. Is this a cause for concern? I am attaching the lab report for your reference.
