Hi, I am frequently getting itches on my palms and joint pains. My latest blood report shows HBsAg reactive status.
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
HBsAg reactive indicates hepatitis B infection. Joint pain and rashes may be immune related. Please consult a hepatologist. Do the required liver function tests and viral load.
Dr. Rohinipriyanka Suggests...
Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a HBV Dna Test Test

View allI am having hepatitis B virus and my liver function test and fibrosis reports are attached. My bilirubin is high. Will this have any effect on my body in the future? How should I manage it? My doctor told me that treatment is required only when SGOT and SGPT are high, and starting medicine before that is of no use. Is this correct, or should I start treatment now?

Hello. I am 23 years old and have been having a cough for the last 3 months. The general physician advised me to do a few blood tests and a chest X ray. My chest X ray report is normal, but a few tests in my blood report are higher than the normal range. My RDW test is 15.3 percent, eosinophils are 11 percent and SGOT is 46 U/L. What does this indicate? Do I need to worry? My brother has Hepatitis B, so since my SGOT is slightly high, does it mean I am infected with Hep B or any other hepatitis? Is there a chance of me having tuberculosis according to these X ray and blood test reports? Please advise the further course of action and which doctor I should visit? I have attached my blood reports.
