Hello. I am 23 years old and have been having a cough for the last 3 months. The general physician advised me to do a few blood tests and a chest X ray. My chest X ray report is normal, but a few tests in my blood report are higher than the normal range. My RDW test is 15.3 percent, eosinophils are 11 percent and SGOT is 46 U/L. What does this indicate? Do I need to worry? My brother has Hepatitis B, so since my SGOT is slightly high, does it mean I am infected with Hep B or any other hepatitis? Is there a chance of me having tuberculosis according to these X ray and blood test reports? Please advise the further course of action and which doctor I should visit? I have attached my blood reports.

High eosinophils suggest allergy or parasite. SGOT mildly high, not necessarily hepatitis. No TB evidence in X ray. Please take hepatitis panel for confirmation.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a HEPATITIS B SURFACE ANTIBODY (ANTI-HBS) Test or Take a HEPATITIS C VIRUS (HCV) IGM ANTIBODY, SERUM Test

Sir, what is this viral load? I am worried about my health. Is hepatitis B curable? My report shows HBsAg provisionally reactive, and the lab has suggested a confirmatory HBsAg test. I have no symptoms mentioned in articles on the internet, but I am feeling very tired, and my weight has drastically reduced from 68 kg to 58 kg. Is this due to hepatitis B? How can I know whether it is acute or chronic? Is it fatal or life-threatening? I am very worried.

I tested HBsAg positive, and my doctor informed me that I was an inactive carrier. My liver function test values have been normal. Recently, I have been experiencing abdominal pain. My latest LFT remains normal, but an ultrasound showed hepatomegaly with a liver size of 162 mm. My SGPT is 40, SGOT is 24, and my HBV viral load is 9,000. I am attaching my report for your review. Please advise what treatment I require.
