Dear Sir, I am 27 years old and have been suffering from Hepatitis B for the last 4 years. My recent test reports show: HBsAg: Negative (tested by chromatography) HBsAg: Positive (tested by immunochromatography) HBsAg: Positive (tested by ELISA) I am confused about which result should be considered valid. Could you please clarify?

Chromatography may give false negatives. ELISA (or ECLIA) is more accurate. HBsAg positive by ELISA confirms chronic infection. Consult a hepatologist.
