Hi, I am planning to follow a KETO diet and would like some valuable suggestions. Does it help in regulating high cholesterol and blood sugar levels?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
The Keto diet may help lower blood sugar and aid weight loss, but it can raise cholesterol in some people. If you have high cholesterol or diabetes, its best to do this under a dieticians guidance. Choose healthy fats like nuts and seeds over red meat. Repeat your cholesterol and sugar tests after 1 to 2 months.
Dr. Shaik Suggests...
Take a LIPID PROFILE Test or Take a HBA1C (GLYCATED HEMOGLOBIN) Test
